So we've finally moved the Members Network completely, including all past accounts, over to our (not so) new site. 2012 will now be all about polishing things up. Any members that have problems should feel free to reach out to me personally!
About Me
Originally an environmental educator, I happily joined my wife (Sandy Heierbacher) in supporting the dialogue & deliberation movement initiated by the original participants of our first conference. As co-founder and creative director of NCDD, I have continued to support this movement and watch it grow.
NCDD Involvement
Creator of the NCDD website.
About My Work
Organization Name
National Coalition for Dialogue and Deliberation (NCDD)
Description
The National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation (NCDD) is an active network of over 1,500 organizations and professionals from across the U.S. and over a dozen other countries. Our members engage and mobilize people around today's most challenging issues across partisan, ethnic and other divides.

NCDD was formed in 2002 in response to a growing need for learning and collaboration among those who do dialogue, deliberation, conflict resolution and public engagement work in a variety of disciplines (public policy, humanities, social work, communications, education, etc.). Our national and regional conferences, online programs and resources, and numerous collaborative projects provide opportunities for members of NCDD and the greater dialogue and deliberation community to share knowledge, collaborate, and build relationships for the purpose of strengthening each other's work.

The NCDD website offers literally thousands of resources, opportunities, news, and best practices, and we keep in touch monthly with 20,000 people in the public engagement and conflict resolution fields.
This group was formed to help NCDDers from the Mid-Atlantic states to network and share region-specific information. The Mid-Atlantic region includes Washington D.C. and parts of its surrounding states (DE, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, WV).
We wanted to create one group that every NCDD member is a part of, so we can provide a space where all members can take part in discussions here in the members network.

AndyFlukeGroups seemed to have been updated successfully and are showing accurate member counts! Please let us know if you spot anything that seems suspicious. Thanks!
