Position Overview:
Convergence Center for Policy Resolution (Convergence) is the leading nonprofit dedicated to bridging divides and solving critical issues through collaborative problem-solving across ideological, political, and cultural lines. Since 2009, Convergence has brought together leaders and experts—many from opposing perspectives—to build trust, identify breakthrough solutions, and form unlikely alliances that advance constructive change.

We are seeking a dynamic Associate Director of Development to join our close-knit and mission-driven team. This role will lead efforts to grow unrestricted giving, manage donor relationships, oversee fundraising campaigns, and strengthen backend development systems. The position combines front-line fundraising with strategic oversight of an effective development program.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–7+ years of nonprofit fundraising experience (with a focus on individual and major donors), strong project management skills, and a passion for bridging divides and advancing equity through dialogue and collaboration.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and managing a portfolio of individual and institutional donors.
• Developing cultivation and solicitation strategies to strengthen Convergence’s donor pipeline.
• Designing and executing fundraising campaigns, including annual appeals and planned giving efforts.
• Overseeing donor database management and ensuring accurate, timely processing of gifts.
• Leading event strategy for donor engagement and fundraising events.
• Supervising a development intern and supporting volunteer fundraisers.
