Civic Hub Learning Program Senior Manager (Civic Hub Learning Team) - Better Together America4/8/2025 ![]() Position Title: Civic Hub Learning Program Senior Manager (Civic Hub Learning Team) Reports To: Director, Hub Support & Learning Group Position Summary: The Civic Hub Learning Program Senior Manager (hereinafter “Manager”) will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and management of the Better Together America (BTA) Learning Pipeline. This includes co-creating and curating curriculum, hosting virtual and in-person workshops, planning and facilitating learning cohorts, and ensuring effective knowledge sharing and peer support among hub builders. Since many of these learning opportunities will be novel, the Manager will be responsible for collaborating with team members and partners to stand them up and for ensuring their subsequent evolution. At this time, the Manager will not be a direct supervisor of any staff, but will be responsible for facilitating the activities of the Civic Hub Learning Team. As a result, the Manager will play a key role in accelerating the growth, development, and effectiveness of Civic Hubs nationwide. Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Lead team of subject matter experts and facilitate multi-stakeholder engagements to curate and co-develop comprehensive learning materials, workshops, and resources for hub builder learning across all phases of the hub lifecycle.

Compensation: The Manager will receive $2,000 per month initially. The intent is for compensation to increase as BTA achieves more sustainable funding. Benefits:

Civic hubs are local, nonpartisan networks of organizations that partner with their local community to identify and solve its challenges, build civic capacity, and ensure leaders are more accountable and fairly selected. BTA offers a wide range of support to accelerate the growth and development of civic hubs, including individualized coaching, a curated Resource Center, joint fundraising campaigns, and communications/marketing. One of BTA’s premier offerings to Civic Hubs is its Learning Program. The Learning Program features in-person Accelerator Workshops, 6-month Learning Cohorts, and quarterly Learning Community convenings. These learning opportunities are all working towards creating a nationwide collaborative learning network that enables the exchange of ideas and lessons learned across communities while equipping Civic Hubs with the knowledge, skills, and encouragement needed to effectively build resilient and empowered communities. To date, the number of Civic Hubs that BTA supports is scaling quickly and is anticipated to increase to 100 by the end of 2025 and 250 by the end of 2026.
