Position Overview:
The Penn Center for Media, Technology, and Democracy invites applications for an Engagement and Policy Manager to help lead initiatives that strengthen democratic institutions through inclusive scholarship and public engagement. This full-time position is ideal for a professional committed to democratic values, dialogue, and equity in the digital age.

In this role, you will co-lead a dynamic public event series and the Center’s flagship annual conference exploring the intersection of media, technology, and democracy. You’ll manage a cutting-edge research grants program, coordinate an interdisciplinary fellowship program, and contribute written content such as blogs and policy briefs that distill academic work for broader audiences.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of relevant experience (or equivalent education and experience), strong organizational skills, and a demonstrated commitment to civic engagement, media integrity, or technology policy.
