Position Overview:
Harvard Kennedy School is seeking an Executive Program Director to lead Data-Smart City Solutions, a program dedicated to advancing data-informed practices in local government. Reporting to the Faculty Director, this role is responsible for strategic leadership, operational management, and program growth. The Executive Program Director will oversee a high-performing team, manage key initiatives including the Project on Municipal Innovation and a forthcoming awards program, cultivate partnerships and donor relationships, and ensure long-term financial sustainability.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in public policy, economics, statistics, or a related field with at least 10 years of professional experience, strong leadership and program management skills, and a proven track record in strategic planning, team development, and cross-sector collaboration. Experience in civic innovation, urban data, or local government is highly preferred.
