Position Overview: The Scripps Howard Fund and Institute for Nonprofit News are offering 25 paid journalism internships for college students (undergraduate, graduate, and 2025-26 graduating students) at independent newsrooms across North America. Interns will gain hands-on journalism experience while receiving weekly training sessions with fellow interns and one-on-one coaching from newsroom leaders. Participating newsrooms include Carolina Public Press, Oklahoma Watch, Bridge Michigan, Mission Local, Wisconsin Watch, and 15 others across diverse communities.
