Position Overview:
Generation Citizen is seeking a dedicated and equity-driven Part-time Program Recruitment Director (West) to join our inclusive, mission-aligned team. In this pivotal role, you will build and sustain strategic partnerships with schools and districts across Washington State and California, promoting our transformative civic education programming. You will lead partnership recruitment, steward long-term relationships, and collaborate closely with both regional and national teams to ensure program sustainability and impact.

Key responsibilities include managing partner recruitment and retention, mapping school districts for opportunity analysis, and maintaining accurate partnership data through Salesforce. You’ll also contribute to fundraising, support program implementation, and engage in advocacy initiatives to align with the region’s civic voice and policy goals. This role requires occasional travel (up to 20%) for in-person meetings and events.
Ideal candidates will bring 5+ years of nonprofit or education sector experience, strong relationship-building skills, experience managing diverse teams, and a passion for advancing civic engagement through equity-centered practices. Familiarity with school systems, CRM tools, and public speaking is essential; direct classroom experience is a plus.
