Yale University, School of the Environment Role Title: Professor in the Practice of Collaborative Solutions Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive Location: New Haven, CT Link to Apply: https://apply.interfolio.com/168494 Position Overview: The Yale School of the Environment (YSE) is seeking a distinguished practitioner to join its faculty as a Professor in the Practice of Collaborative Solutions. This full-time position focuses on advancing environmental dialogue, conflict resolution, and inclusive decision-making through the development of a new Collaborative Solutions Program (CSP). The CSP will bring together diverse stakeholders—locally and globally—to build consensus, mediate disputes, and create collaborative solutions to complex environmental challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and natural resource management. The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., conflict resolution, communication, international relations, law, political science, public administration, or a related interdisciplinary area), and should demonstrate a well-established reputation in environmental conflict resolution. Responsibilities include leading the CSP, mentoring graduate students (especially within YSE’s professional Master’s program), teaching, and fostering a culture of dialogue and collaboration within the school.
