This 12-month remote paid internship offers valuable experience working directly with BDI researchers across multiple portfolios including state-level violence mitigation, data coding and analysis, data library management, de-escalation and community safety, and media communications. RAs will develop skills in open-source monitoring, political violence analysis, data collection, analytical writing, digital security, and remote collaboration while receiving mentorship, professional development workshops, and networking opportunities with mission-aligned organizations. This position is ideal for upper-level undergraduate or graduate students interested in conflict mitigation, peacebuilding, and strengthening democratic resilience in the U.S. Applicants must be current 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in a relevant discipline, able to commit to the full internship period (August 2025-July 2026), located in the U.S., and available 10-15 hours weekly.
