Position Overview:
The Constructive Dialogue Institute (CDI) seeks a (Senior) Director of Research and Evaluation to lead the organization’s efforts to measure, understand, and communicate impact across higher education and beyond. Reporting to the Chief Impact Officer, this role will shape CDI’s research agenda, oversee a cross-disciplinary team, and ensure the rigor, clarity, and accessibility of CDI’s evaluation and thought leadership work.

The ideal candidate has 8–13 years of applied research experience in education, nonprofits, or social/behavioral science, including experience leading mixed-methods teams. A doctorate in a relevant discipline is required (master’s with extensive leadership experience may be considered). The Director will guide studies that assess program effectiveness, inform organizational strategy, and advance CDI’s mission to foster constructive dialogue across differences.
