Reporting directly to the Co-Founder and Executive Director, the VP will be responsible for building and driving a comprehensive development function from the ground up—cultivating major donors, securing foundation support, developing fundraising systems, and laying the groundwork for future team growth. This role blends high-level strategy with hands-on execution, offering an opportunity to significantly shape CDI’s trajectory as it expands its impact in higher education and beyond. The ideal candidate will bring 10–12+ years of fundraising experience, including a proven track record of securing six- and seven-figure gifts, as well as demonstrated success in leading development strategy. Strong relationship-building skills, entrepreneurial drive, and deep alignment with CDI’s mission of bridging divides through dialogue are essential.
