The role involves monitoring the democratic threat landscape to identify priority moments and geographies, designing and implementing strategic and annual work plans, representing the organization in ideologically diverse pro-democracy networks and coalitions, conducting outreach to influential Jewish leaders, developing tailored approaches for engaging different types of Jewish leaders, building relationships across the broader pro-democracy ecosystem, designing and facilitating high-impact experiences including trainings and scenario-planning exercises, and developing action pathways for Jewish leaders to counter democratic threats. Candidates should have 7+ years of experience in community organizing or grassroots organizing, deep familiarity with the American Jewish communal landscape, demonstrated ability to build trust with leaders across ideological divides, expertise in developing and facilitating trainings and leader experiences, strong project management skills, and commitment to pluralism and nonpartisanship. The position requires regular travel 4-6 times per year, plus additional travel 2-4 times per year for conferences.
