The 2024 Aicher Impact Award, honoring Everyday Democracy’s founder Paul J. Aicher, will provide two organizations a $5,000 cash prize for advancing inclusive, multiracial democracy. Eligible nominees must be 501(c)3 organizations in the U.S. with budgets under $2M, embodying at least three of Everyday Democracy’s core values like fostering relationships across differences and challenging dominant narratives. Nominations close on today, and the winners will be chosen through public voting from November 11–29. The winners, announced on December 3, will receive both a cash prize and public recognition.
