What is Conversation Café? Conversation Cafés are hosted dialogues that allow participants to engage in deep, respectful discussions on important issues. Whether you're passionate about social topics, community development, or global concerns, these cafés create a space for everyone to share their perspectives. In 2001, Susan Partnow, Habib Rose, and Vicki Robin started Conversation Cafés in Seattle, creating spaces for spontaneous public dialogues on important issues. These cafés quickly spread across the U.S., Canada, and Europe, fostering deeper community conversations. Over time, Susan and Vicki passed stewardship of the initiative to Bob and Jacquelyn Pogue, who integrated it into their Richmond Action Dialogues, expanding its scope to include more community action. In 2015, the Conversation Café model transitioned to the National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation, ensuring its continued growth and impact. What’s is Available on the Website?
