The event highlights timely insights, practical tools, and proven strategies that attendees can apply immediately. All registered attendees receive access to session recordings after the event. Registration secures the full Conference Rewind experience, allowing engagement with insights and practical takeaways on their own schedule. Day One features keynote “Writing Our Own Story – Civic Engagement and Community” by Ramon Juan Vasquez, sessions on imposter syndrome, industry co-creation, Charlotte’s equitable engagement model, and amplifying voices of hard-to-reach communities. Day Two features sessions on building community capacity through public involvement, structural changes for lasting participation, and an IAP2 USA Licensed Trainer Session. This Conference Rewind advances NCDD’s mission by providing dialogue and deliberation practitioners access to curated sessions on practical tools and proven strategies for civic engagement, including equitable engagement models, amplifying marginalized voices, building community capacity through public involvement, and structural changes enabling lasting participation. This curated experience is designed to highlight timely insights, practical tools, and proven strategies attendees can apply immediately in their work, offering a convenient and engaging way to learn from industry leaders with no travel required—whether looking to catch up on what was missed or revisit sessions that sparked new ideas. All registered attendees will receive access to the complete library of session recordings following the event even if unable to join live on May 6 and 7, 2026, with registration securing the full Conference Rewind experience allowing engagement with insights, ideas, and practical takeaways on own schedule and ability to revisit sessions that matter most—recognizing busy schedules and competing priorities can make it difficult to attend live virtual event.
Day One (May 6, 2026) features 11:00 AM welcome followed by keynote address "Writing Our Own Story – Civic Engagement and Community" by Ramon Juan Vasquez (11:15 AM-12:00 PM), "Navigating Imposter Syndrome: Embracing Your Worth in the Workplace" by Lauren Garrott (12:00 PM-12:45 PM), "The Future of Engagement Starts Here: An Industry Co-creation Workshop" by Daniel Fusca (1:00 PM-1:45 PM), "From Intent to Impact: Charlotte's SOP-E as a Model for Empowering Equitable Engagement" by Nicole Storey (2:30 PM-3:15 PM), and "Community Transportation Navigators: Amplifying Voices of Hardest Reach Communities" by Sandy Phan and Sara Sisco (3:30 PM-4:15 PM). Day Two (May 7, 2026) features TBD session (12:00 PM-12:45 PM), "Building Community Capacity and Providing Mutual Benefit Through Public Involvement Activities" by Adrienne DeDona (1:00 PM-1:45 PM), "Structural Changes for Lasting Participation in SLC: Engagement that Starts From Within" by Sarah Horton and Soren Fillet (2:30 PM-3:15 PM), and "IAP2 USA Licensed Trainer Session" by Justin Schneider, Cassie Hemphill, and Doug Zenn (3:30 PM-4:15 PM).
