DRH-NCDD Training: Bridging Across Political Differences Date: Friday, January 9th Time: 3-5 pm Eastern, 12-2 pm Pacific Description
How can we depolarize ourselves and communicate more effectively across political and cultural divides? This session offers a practical tour of proven approaches to depolarization and dialogue. Drawing on methods from leading bridge-building organizations and community practitioners, we’ll explore concrete ways to stay grounded, curious, and connected when tensions rise. Participants will sample trusted techniques for listening across ideological divides, frame invitations that feel welcoming to everyone, and find shared values without losing integrity. The focus is learning from experience: what has actually helped people move from mutual suspicion to mutual respect. Speakers:
