Thank You to Kyla Epstein for Her Board Service 

As we continue to build the future of NCDD, we would like to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to Kyla Epstein, who has recently completed her term on the NCDD Board of Directors.

Kyla joined our board in January 2022 and brought her characteristic thoughtfulness, generosity, and insight to every conversation. From her home in Vancouver, BC—on the unceded territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, and səlilwətaɬ Nations—Kyla offered a steady commitment to building trust, connection, and accountability in service of our shared values. Her voice and perspective helped shape key moments in NCDD’s journey over the past three years, and we are grateful for the time, care, and vision she offered our community.

Kyla currently serves as the Director, Government Relations & Strategic Partnerships at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), advocating for applied public, polytechnic post-secondary education. She’s a seasoned board leader and a passionate learner, and recently completed a Master's in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on governance. We know she’ll continue to be a force for good in every space she enters—and we’re so thankful that she shared her brilliance with NCDD.​
