​Interns at NCDD don’t just complete tasks—they contribute to our mission. Through real-world projects in areas like Communications, Democracy Engagement, Grant Writing, Membership Engagement, and Program Development, interns gain firsthand experience in what it takes to support dialogue and deliberation nationwide.

Internship roles are designed to be collaborative, creative, and responsive to each individual’s strengths and aspirations. Interns receive mentorship from experienced team members and join a network that spans facilitators, educators, activists, and public engagement leaders. Whether you're exploring a future in nonprofit leadership, conflict transformation, or civic design, NCDD is a welcoming place to learn and lead.

You do not need to be currently enrolled in school to apply.
