The project earned him the 2025 Civil Discourse & Connection Innovation Award. His work has gained national recognition, including his selection as a finalist in the Institute for Citizens and Scholars' inaugural Youth Civic Solutions Competition. Jason has also contributed thought leadership through publications, including a recent op-ed in The Tennessean exploring how community-focused political dialogue can strengthen democracy at the local level. His diverse experience also includes roles with Project Pericles, the Bridge Alliance, and Mobile Voting, where he has honed skills in grant writing, database management, strategic partnerships, and community outreach—all directly applicable to his new role with NCDD. Supporting NCDD's Strategic GoalsIn his role as Executive Assistant, Jason will provide high-level administrative and organizational support to our Executive Director, helping ensure NCDD operates with maximum efficiency and impact.
