Celebrate their work with a virtual gala featuring Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter Charles Duhigg, author of Supercommunicators. The event will honor 2024 Founders Award winners Beverly Braxton, Janele Nelson, and Branden Polk for their inspiring work to build trust and understanding across differences. ​Essential Partners celebrates our 35th Anniversary this year with a virtual gala! Tickets are available now at a suggested donation amount of $50. Join us as we celebrate our history, our inspiring community, and the power of hope!

The event will feature a conversation with Pulitzer prize-winning reporter Charles Duhigg, whose new book, Supercommunicators, explores the power of intentional communication to transform relationships, culture, and conflict—and includes a chapter on Essential Partners.

Three inspiring EP partners will be awarded the Essential Partners Founders Award at the gala, recognizing their courage and dedication in working to build trust, understanding, and relationships across differences. Our 2024 Founders Award winners are: 

• Beverly Braxton, founder of We the People Warwick
• Janele Nelson, Mission Director of YMCA Pierce & Kitsap Counties
• Branden Polk, Director of Strategic Initiatives for Stand Together

They will be joined by Essential Partners co-Executive Directors Katie Hyten and John Sarrouf, Board Members Darwensi Clark and Molly Zuker, as well as practitioners.
