A functioning democracy depends on truth and access to accurate information. Members of a self-governing society need reliable information, a clear understanding of reality, and a shared sense of truth to make informed decisions. The Interactivity Foundation's "Truth & Democracy" serves as a three-part facilitation guide designed to spark meaningful discussions about the role of science and education in democratic society, along with strategies for addressing media misinformation. Throughout this series, we examine how news media, science, and education collectively provide access to truth within our democracy. Each topic features a round-robin discussion, followed by open conversation, and concludes with a wrap-up section that encourages perspective sharing and collaborative thinking. By the time participants complete the forum, they will have gained valuable tools for truthfully informing the public and developed skills to engage with diverse viewpoints in reimagining the media's role in public education.
