The Making A Living List (D&D Jobs List)
If you are looking for work in dialogue & deliberation, we recommend you subscribe to this list. We now use this list to primarily share job openings we hear about in the field.
NCDD member Steve Pyser initiated this discussion list in 2006, and launched it with a conference call focused on such issues as setting pay standards and helping people professionalize the work they do. Archives for the Making A Living list can be accessed online.

The Transpartisan Listserv
Launched in March 2014 through a collaboration of NCDD, Mediators Foundation, and over a dozen co-founders who are leaders in political bridge building work, the Transpartisan List is meant to connect and inform those working in the transpartisan realm.
The purpose of this moderated listserv is to introduce potential colleagues to one another, to expand our knowledge of transpartisan theory and practice, and to showcase ongoing activity in the transpartisan field. Our goal is to provide a simple, safe communication channel where individuals and organizations that are active in this boundary-crossing work can connect and learn from each other. This list is not used for debating public policy issues.
You can subscribe to the Transpartisan List by sending a blank email to [email protected]. Then once you’re subscribed, you can send messages to everyone on the list by emailing [email protected].

You can subscribe to the Emerging Leaders List by sending a blank email to [email protected]. Then once you’re subscribed, you can send messages to everyone on the list by emailing [email protected].
This listserv serves as a valuable forum for younger NCDD members to network, share ideas and information, think together, seek advice, ask questions, and spark new collaborations with other young people who work in, study, or have an interest in D&D and public engagement.
NCDD will use this list to post info about job, internship, and scholarship opportunities in the field; share news and announcements about events and other happenings that are relevant for young D&D leaders; ask for input from young folks in the field; offer special deals on trainings and professional development; and more. We will also use this listserv to support a D&D mentoring program in the future.

The Race, Police, and Reconciliation Discussion List
The Race, Police, and Reconciliation discussion list was launched in November 2016 after participants in the NCDD 2016 conference identified the nexus of racial tensions, community-police relations, and truth-telling & reconciliation processes as an area that NCDD’s network should discuss more extensively. We hope will serve as a space where we can continue to share and discuss ideas, tools, projects, and resources about race dialogue, community-police dialogue, and truth-telling & reconciliation work.

The Conversation Café Updates & Announcements List
NCDD became the official steward of the Conversation Café process (CC) during 2016, and so we’ve created a new one-way announcement list to share news about Conversation Café happenings once in a while (no more than monthly). We encourage everyone who uses with the CC process, plans to in the future, or just has an interest in the CC model to subscribe to this list by sending a blank email to [email protected].
The Conversation Café Discussion List
If you’re a Conversation Café host or promoter (or want to be), also consider joining the new Cafe-Community listserv – a discussion list we’ve modeled after the NCDD Discussion list to empower CC leaders to network, share information, and discuss key issues facing the Conversation Café community. To join this list, send a blank email to [email protected]. Then once you’re subscribed, you can send messages to everyone on the list by emailing [email protected].
The Climate Change Discussion List
The Climate Change List was created for the network to have a space to share information about dialogue and deliberation projects related to climate change, energy, and other environmental issues. To join this list, send a blank email to [email protected]. Once you are subscribed, you can send messages to everyone on the list by sending an email to [email protected].
The D&D Higher Education Announcements List
The D&D Higher Ed list is a one-way announcement list run by NCDD for dialogue & deliberation scholars and professionals based at colleges and universities. We encourage our members and friends in academia to subscribe by sending a blank email to [email protected]. This is a list only for updates and announcements relevant to higher education, not a discussion list.
The Regional Listservs
NCDD members are always interested in additional opportunities to network and share information with colleagues locally, and we’ve set up some discussion lists to help. We also use these lists to periodically share grant opportunities, job openings, facilitation opportunities, workshops, etc. specific to these regions.
