Join fellow Dialogue and Discussion champions from London to Lagos, for small group and Open Space conversations that matter. NCDD member, Ron Gross shared an event called Conversation Day hosted by Conversations New York. The event takes place Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 2-4pm Eastern. Let's share what we've learned -- and our hopes moving forward! Come share your experiences, concerns and wisdom. Join us for an afternoon of bracing comradeship, mutual support, and intellectual stimulation. Discussion Topics: 1. What’s one of the most significant experiences you have had this year, in coping with the multiple crises we have endured? 2. What have you learned about yourself? 3. What are some ways that you expect or hope that our your society will be different, as we resume our lives? 4. What will you do differently going forward – personally, socially, professionally, or politically? This conversation is presented by Conversations New York. From their website:
Conversations New York (CNY) is staffed by a voluntary steering committee, all working pro bono – and welcoming new members! We are professionals in marketing, IT, strategy, development, graphic design, small-group facilitation, networking, and editorial. We share a belief that conversation is a necessary and valuable part of our culture. While we embrace technology, we wish to ensure that as communication technology grows exponentially, so too, do our options for face-to-face communication. To benefit from the best that is being thought and done in the field, CNY is strengthened by an international Advisory Committee of practitioners, thinkers, authors, and scholars in the field (listed here). CNY partners with other organizations which facilitate conversations, ranging from MeetUp groups in the U.S., to Talk to Me London and others around the world.
