FIDE NA & Citizens' Assembly School - April 18-20

​I wanted to write to you personally to announce the launch of the Federation for Innovation in Democracy North America (FIDE NA). Building on the great work of FIDE Europe, we are supporting advocacy efforts such as the Global Innovations in Democracy with partners, building capacity, providing technical guidance on the design and implementation of Citizens' Assemblies across North America. We recently launched a Learning Agenda Working Group to gather comprehensive evidence-based data on the impact of Citizens' Assemblies.

FIDE NA Capacity Building School (April 18-20) in partnership with the Local Policy Lab and the Consortium for Science, Policy and Outcomes (ASU): With the growing buzz around Citizens' Assemblies, there is no better place to learn about the A to Z of Citizens' Assembly design and implementation, than a FIDE Capacity Building School. Join presentations and workshops with international CA experts such as:

3. Global Innovations in Democracy (April 15-17): Together with IDEA (Ohio State), the National Civic League (NCL), the Brennan Center, and Berggruen Institute, we are hosting an parliamentary exchange on Democratic Innovations with Members of the US Congress and delegations from over ten countries. This event is reserved for parliamentary delegations and is by invitation only but do let us know if you'd like to participate and we will do our best to accommodate.
