I wanted to write to you personally to announce the launch of the Federation for Innovation in Democracy North America (FIDE NA). Building on the great work of FIDE Europe, we are supporting advocacy efforts such as the Global Innovations in Democracy with partners, building capacity, providing technical guidance on the design and implementation of Citizens' Assemblies across North America. We recently launched a Learning Agenda Working Group to gather comprehensive evidence-based data on the impact of Citizens' Assemblies. Global Innovations in Democracy (April 15-17): Together with IDEA (Ohio State), the National Civic League (NCL), the Brennan Center, and Berggruen Institute, we are hosting an parliamentary exchange on Democratic Innovations with Members of the US Congress and delegations from over ten countries.
